So, bright and early yesterday morning, first e-mail of the day, I even solicited input from colleagues about the humor contest and still, still, I was in the car at the light after five-ish last night when I thought about, oh, I don’t know, making an announcement about the winner on the humor page…!
After some debate, and a vote for the big boxes, we settled on the regifting entry from Wade (under “my worst Christmas gift ever”) – probably out of guilt, because we’ve all done that at one point or another…it’s NOT a bad thing, you simply must do it in the right way! REMOVE ANY INDICATIONS THAT IT WAS A GIFT IN A PREVIOUS LIFE. AND REWRAP WITH FRESH PAPER. Seriously, it’s not rocket science (no offense to any rocket scientist out there who may have regifted in the past or are considering doing so in the coming year How many ties with rockets on them can you wear in one lifetime, after all?).
Anyway, we’re sending Wade a $25 gift certificate for the on-line store, and entering him in the drawing for the $100 gift certificate! Note to Wade & BradMac, free shipping on Internet orders over $75 on 11/28 and 12/01. Plan accordingly.
We’re getting our ducks – well, I’d better say our elves – in a row to run a photo contest, but we’re not ready for that yet. This week – and, since I’ve been behind on this one, let’s keep it open until 11/21, tell us about your favorite Christmas movies. I’ve got four on my list to start with.
